About Our Classes

Hot Pilates is a high-intensity, low-impact workout performed in a heated room at 102°F with 42% humidity. Unlike traditional Pilates, the heat increases flexibility, promotes deeper stretching, and helps detoxify the body through sweat. Our Hot Mat Pilates focuses on core strength, muscle toning, and full-body conditioning.

Hot Yoga at Body Alive offers numerous benefits including increased flexibility due to the heated environment, enhanced detoxification through sweating, improved cardiovascular health, stress reduction, and deeper muscle engagement. The 102°F temperature allows for safer, deeper stretches. It’s excellent for both physical fitness and mental wellness.

Lagree Fitness is a high-intensity, low-impact workout performed on the Megaformer machine. Unlike traditional Pilates, Lagree combines strength, cardio, and endurance training with slow, controlled movements that keep muscles under tension longer. At Body Alive, our Loveland and Mason studios feature Lagree Mega Pro Megaformers for this transformative full-body workout that builds long, lean muscles.

Hot Mat Pilates is performed on a mat in our heated 102°F studio, focusing on bodyweight exercises, core strength, and flexibility. Lagree is performed on the Megaformer machine at room temperature, using spring resistance for a more intense strength-building workout. Both are low-impact but Lagree provides more resistance training while Hot Mat Pilates offers the detox benefits of heat.

For optimal results, we recommend 3-5 classes per week, allowing your body time to recover between sessions. Consistency is key – many members see noticeable improvements in strength, flexibility, and body composition within 4-6 weeks of regular practice. Our unlimited membership makes it easy to build a sustainable routine.

First Time & Beginners

Our heated room is kept at 102°F temperature with 42% humidity. We encourage beginners to take as long as required to allow their bodies to acclimate. We all deal with the heat in different ways. If you feel tired, dizzy or short of breath, we encourage you to pace yourself and even lie down on your mat for a few poses. You’ll find that each time you return, you feel capable of doing more. Many students report that within a few classes, they’ve found a new edge they didn’t even know was there.

Yes, Hot Yoga is safe for beginners when practiced properly. We recommend hydrating well before and after class, taking breaks when needed, and listening to your body. Our instructors are certified through organizations like Yoga Alliance and provide modifications for all fitness levels in a supportive environment. Start with our All Levels classes and let your instructor know it’s your first time in a heated class.

The instructors at Body Alive are highly trained experts who love working with new students. Our instructors are ready to get you going gently and safely and make sure you get a powerful workout. We believe that getting a proper introduction to your new workout is an essential step to your new, healthy lifestyle. This is why we offer special classes for beginners in Hot Power Yoga, and why our instructors are delighted to provide modifications for all levels.

Just bring yourself and a positive attitude! We provide all equipment including mats, reformers, weights, and towels. Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes. We recommend bringing a water bottle, though we have filtered water stations available.

Wear lightweight, moisture-wicking, form-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. Most members wear shorts or leggings with a sports bra or fitted tank top. Avoid loose or heavy fabrics that can trap heat. Bring a water bottle and towel – we provide yoga mats and all other equipment you’ll need.

You must be at least 14 years or older to take any of our class offerings. If you are under 16 years old, we’ll need your parents to sign a consent form prior to class participation.
